Waterbury Principal Placed On Leave

A Waterbury principal has been placed on leave.

Waterbury Superintendent of Schools Verna D. Ruffin says Principal Erik Brown of Kingsbury Elementary School was placed on paid leave Thursday.

Ruffin says Brown will remain out of the building until the investigation is concluded.

Brown has been the principal of the school since 2016.

No reason has been given for the leave. There is no word on who the interim principal will be during this time.
