RED RIVER PARISH, La. (WTNH) — A Connecticut man is dead after a state police chase in Louisiana.
Officers there attempted to stop 42-year-old Michael Laduca of Waterford Wednesday night for a traffic violation.
Laduca refused to pull over and started a police chase on Highway 84. He ended up in a ditch and ran off. That’s when some sort of confrontation happened, which led to officers opening fire. Laduca died at the scene.
No officers were injured.
An investigation is underway.
