News

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Wethersfield Police Chief James Cetran was voted out in a special town council meeting Tuesday night. In the meeting, the council discussed the recommendation to fire the chief.

Town Manager Gary Evans sent Cetran a notice of intent to dismiss last week. That notice said Chief Cetran broke his retirement agreement.

The notice said Cetran put in his retirement notice, then withdrew it.
