Woman Struck by Vehicle in West Haven

News

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – A 27 year old woman is hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in West Haven Saturday night. According to police the woman was struck around 7:10 p.m. on Washington Avenue near Main Street.

Police say the woman, who is not being identified at this time, did not appear to have serious injuries on scene but once at the hospital it was determined she had a broken hip and other broken bones and other injuries.

The major accident unit is investigating.

Police are not releasing any information on the driver and vehicle at this time.
