NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Yale University is working on creating hundreds of jobs for New Haven residents. Currently, 4,000 of the nearly 13,000 Yale employees are from New Haven.

Yale has committed to hiring 500 residents in the next two years. One hundred of those positions will be construction jobs. They will start hiring workers through New Haven Works on Whitney Avenue.
