Yankees remember Trooper First Class Kevin M. Miller a year after his death

(WTNH) — One year after Connecticut State Police Trooper First Class Kevin M. Miller died on duty on March 29, 2018, the Yankees honored the fallen officer during their home opener game on Thursday, March 28.

The 19-year State Police veteran died after his cruiser struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 84 Eastbound in Tolland. After an investigation, the report concluded that Trooper First Class Kevin M. Miller was speeding and not intoxicated.
