(WTNH) – This week the state and nation mark 10 years since the tragedy at Sandy Hook. The unspeakable action of a lone gunman has haunted those who had loved ones taken that day.

One of the many voices that played a pivotal role in the hours and days after the shooting was former Governor Dannel Malloy.
