(WTNH) — If Major League Baseball has its way, the newly-named Norwich Sea Unicorns could be going bye-bye.

MLB wants to drop 42 of its minor league affiliates, including the entire New York Penn League.

But, Connecticut lawmakers are trying to ‘save the unicorn,’ claiming MLB anti-trust exemption could be at risk if the league decides to go forward with contraction.
