NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Red light cameras have been a hot topic in Connecticut. New proposed legislation includes installing those cameras in high-risk areas like schools and pedestrian safety zones.
The House passed what they call the Vision Zero bill last week, and now heads to the Senate.
It’s something the NAACP believes could lead to racial profiling. Scot X. Esdaile, president of the Connecticut NAACP, weighs in.
