Capitol Report: Hayes heads to Washington for historic swearing-in

It was a moment in history on Thursday when 5th District Congresswoman Jahana Hayes became the first African-American woman from Connecticut to be sworn in to the U.S. House of Representatives.

The former National Teacher of the Year from Waterbury is now rubbing elbows with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of Congress.
