Capitol Report: Lamont’s teacher pension plan would likely increase property taxes

A proposal from Governor Ned Lamont caught the attention of municipal leaders last week.

The governor is looking to pass along 25 percent of the cost of teacher pensions to cities and towns.

That is likely to cause your property taxes to go up.
