(WTNH) – Ever since Connecticut’s Secretary of the State Denise Merrill announced she wasn’t going to seek re-election in 2022, about a dozen well-known Democrats have been kicking around the idea of making a run for the job.
Maritza Bond, New Haven’s Director of Public Health, has decided she’s officially a candidate.
