(WTNH) – The saying goes, “the nose knows.” The great state of New Mexico is in the process of deciding whether there should be an official state smell.

Specifically, the aroma of the green chile.

A classroom of 5^th graders made their case at a public hearing and the bill cleared the committee and moved to the legislature.
