Capitol Report: Stewart leaves 2022 gubernatorial race; COVID keeps Stefanowski on the fence

(WTNH) — Last week, New Britain’s Republican Mayor Erin Stewart announced that she is not going to run for governor next fall. Stewart, who is a mom to a toddler, says her family and the Hardware City are her top priorities at the moment.

Meanwhile, Republican Bob Stefanowski told News 8 he wants to wait until we get through COVID before he makes a decision about a run. But, that did not stop him from discussing what he thinks needs to change in Connecticut.
