Capitol Report: The ‘fight for 15’ worries retailers

Capitol Report

(WTNH) — Will a victory in the ‘fight for 15‘ come at a cost to Connecticut’s retailers?

Connecticut’s minimum wage got its first bump on October 1st to $11/h. In a few years, it will be $15/hour. Retailers are worried.

The wage increase is already chipping away at their bottom line, and at a retail industry event last week, Governor Lamont defended the wage hike.
