February 5th kicks off the Chinese New Year. 2019 is the year of the pig.

LunarFest in New Haven is celebrating the tradition of Chinese New Year.

Saturday, February 16th kicks off with a parade at 10:00AM down Whitney Avenue and Audubon Street (between Grove and Trumbull Street). Attendees can then head indoors to visit many venues with special activities and programs featuring food, art, music, literature, and dance.
