Celebrating Connecticut’s Moms: Meet Leslie Davis-Green from Trumbull

Connecticut Families

Mother’s Day is Sunday, so, we turned to you to help us honor some of Connecticut’s wonderful moms.

We asked viewers to submit letters, explaining what makes their moms so special and we really received some heartfelt testimonials.

Today, meet Paige Green, celebrating her mom Leslie Davis-Green from Trumbull.

There is so much to say about my mom, Leslie Davis-Green and why she’s the best mom ever.

My mom has a pure heart of true joy and laughter, always keeping everyone laughing and with a smile on their faces. I have seen my mom work 2 sometimes 3 jobs to make sure my sisters and I not just had what we needed but as well as what we wanted.

She made sure that every year without fail we would go on our summer vacations and it will be in different places across the east coast border.

My younger sister has autism and throughout all of the difficulties and challenges that comes with raising kids, let alone raising a special needs child , to me, my mom is beyond the best. She would make sure she was there for everything, dance shows, karate practices, gymnastics, and still to this day Special Olympics.

Now with children of my own, my mom is even more the best grandma my children could ever ask for.

The love I have for my mama is so deep and so wide, she is a phenomenal woman, friend, sister, daughter, wife, grandma, and of course mom!

Happy Mother’s Day.

Keep watching!  We’ll be Celebrating Moms on Saturday and Sunday, between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., on News 8!
