Fashion craft ideas for kids

On-Air

As the days get colder and the little ones are spending more time inside, you might be thinking about ways to keep them occupied. Fashion expert Jeni Elizabeth shares her cost-effective fashion craft ideas, that will update your child’s wardrobe as well.

Consider taking a boys bomber jacket by Alpha Industries and adding a letter to the back of it to personalize it.

You can do the same to a girl’s dress by KIDPIK, by adding a diamond to the top and bottom.

Dress up a pair of shoes, like old rain boots, with different colors of glitter.

Add jewels to a pair of jeans to give them a little pizazz.

Melissa and Doug offers a do it yourself blanket making kit that the kids can do. It’s an engaging activity that gives them something they can’t outgrow.
