Chef Matthew Whitbeck of Masonicare at Chester Village makes a Korean spice chili that will be featured at the Chester Winter Chili Cook Off on Saturday.
The event is is $5 per person and children under 12 get in for free.
All proceeds of this contest will benefit Chester’s local fire department, the Chester Hose Company.
The variety of chilis will be judged by local elected officials.
the chili cookoff will be held in the auditorium at Masonicare at Chester Village on Saturday, February 23 from 1-3 pm.
