Rainbow wrap & veggie snacks
1 Whole wheat tortilla
Spread of choice (hummus, mayo, ketchup, ranch dressing, etc.)
Deli turkey (or protein of choice)
Purple shredded cabbage
Yellow peppers, sliced thin
Use a knife to evenly layer your spread of choice on the whole wheat tortilla. Then add your preferred sandwich items (turkey, cut veggies, etc.), allowing your child to pick which items they want to place on top of the other. After all toppings are added, pick one side of the tortilla to roll up and then hold it together with a toothpick or wrap it in foil to keep it in place.
Veggie Snacks in Shapes:
Cross cut raw carrots and zucchini into “chips”. Cut the raw jicama and cucumber into sticks. Place them in a bento box instead of putting them in individual plastic Ziploc bags.
