Doctor discusses the rise in deadly opioid overdoses in CT

(WTNH) – According to the Connecticut Department of Public Health, there have been 703 fatal drug overdoses in Connecticut this year alone. Last year, there were over 13,000, which is a 36% jump from the year before.

To talk about the rise in deadly opioid overdose cases is Founder of the Volpicelli Center and Executive Director of the Institute of Addiction Medicine, Dr. Joseph R. Volpicelli.
