Eight service dogs from the Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities organization have been paired up with new owners, changing their lives for the better.
ECAD trains service dogs to help people mitigate their mobility, veterans with PTSD and children with autism.
Lu Picard, the founder of ECAD, and Heather Bring, who was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and was paired with a service dog, joined Good Morning Connecticut at Nine to talk about the program.
Bring’s dog Marea and another dog Tuna also joined the show.
