May is National Osteoporosis Month. Clinical Dietitian with Hartford Healthcare, Chris Barrett, explains how diet can help with prevention and management.

Nearly 1 in 2 women and 1 in 4 men over 50 years old with break a bone due to osteoporosis.

Barrett says focusing on food is something patients can control, and a solid nutrition starting early is esential for bone mineral density.
