(WTNH)– COVID-19 stay-at-home and social distancing restrictions have a lot of us wanting to get out more.
But we are not all created equal when it comes to our health risk. Older adults, and the 6 in 10 Americans with chronic conditions have a higher risk for severe complications from COVID-19.
Dr. M. Gabriela De Sousa, with ProHealth Physicians in Wallingford, explains what we need to think about before reentering public life as the state begins to reopen.
Dr. De Sousa also provides important COVID-19 precautions for high-risk populations, all in the video above.
