Staying properly hydrated during the busy holiday season

Good Morning CT at Nine

The holidays often come with over eating, over drinking, and over booking your schedule. The business makes it easy to lose track of your health. Healthy lifestyle expert Caryn Sullivan shares wellness tips on staying hydrated.

1. Start the morning out with warm water and fresh lemon before any food or other drinks.

a. Make the drink the night before and put in a air tight container so it’s ready as soon as you wake or keep lemons and an electric water kettle in your bedroom.

2. Drink filtered water to equal half your body weight in ounces throughout the day

a. Keep a water bottle with you at all times. Buy a smart water bottle that notifies you when you haven’t drank or find an app like Plant Nanny to keep track.

b. If you find it hard to drink water, try defusing it. Add fruits, veggies, herbs or essential oils.
