Walk a mile in her shoes to prevent violence against women and girls

An an annual event coming to Connecticut is focused on fighting violence against women and girls. Executive Director of Public Safety and Sacred Heart University and Retired Police Chief Gary MacNamara explains how putting yourself in her shoes can help the cause.

The 7th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes even takes place Saturday, April 27th at the Fairfield Train Station.

The walk kicks off at 8:00am.

Admission for adults is $25, $15 for students and free for children ages 18 and under.
