If you want to sign up for healthcare through the Affordable Care Act, you now have until January 15th of 2019. This comes after a Texas judge ruled that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional.
Ken Lalime, CEO of the Community Health Center Association of Connecticut, and John Thomas, a health law professor at the Quinnipiac University School of Law, joined Good Morning Connecticut to explain what that means for you in the video above.
The public can also come to any one of the 17 community health centers in the state (also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers, or FQHCs) to work with a staff expert and learn about the best healthcare options for them and their family. This is a free and very simple service.
