Educational toys to keep your children learning at home

(WTNH) - News 8 is your source for everything back to school. We are helping parents keep their kids motivated outside of the classroom.

Social Media Influencer Liora Rez shares educational toy options that children from kindergarten to middle school will enjoy.

For students in kindergarten through 2nd grade, consider getting them a play cash register or magnet tiles. These toys will help get them familiar with math.

For 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, you can't go wrong with slime! Liora says this helps children become familiar with elementary chemistry and the materials used to make slime. Parents can also consider buying a marble run for this age group which promotes engineering and architecture.

For students grades 6 through 8, consider buying a small model of the human body to get them familiar with anatomy. A circuit builder will also keep their minds engaged and get them curious about how electricity works.
