Bridal Flower trends of 2019

Good Morning CT Weekend

(WTNH)- We’re so close to the end of the year, we are already talking 2019 trends!

Lisa Antonecchia from Creative Concepts by Lisa, came to Good Morning Connecticut to talk about wedding trends of bridal flowers next year.

Antonecchia says cascade weeding bouquets were very popular back in the 90’s and it was considered to be a very traditional bridal look and now they are 100% back on trend!

The second floral design on trend is Roundy Moundy. this look has little to no leaves or greens and is a very contemporary and clean look.

The third is Hand Tied, Organic. This is by far the most popular today especially with all the Rustic Chic and barn, vineyard weddings.

The fourth, Crescent, taking the Hand Tied to the next step. It’s a larger look tat instead of cascading down in front of the bride, it’s wider and creates a crescent shape across the bride.

And the fifth floral bouquet that is trending, is Nosegay. Antonecchia says this may be because of Megan Markle. It is petite and understated and some feel it’s highly romantic.

Antonecchia says the wedding bouquet is a great first step for any bride trying to decide her overall floral design.
