How playing games for 24 hours will benefit Connecticut Children’s Medical Center

Good Morning CT Weekend

(WTNH)- Grabbing a board game with the family is always fun, but what if you had the chance to play for 24 hours straight while raising money for a good cause?

Local gamers of all levels and from all categories including console, mobile and table top are uniting for one cause today, November 3rd, to save and improve the lives of kids treated at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program, provides game loving locals a chance to support the hospital in a fun way.

Harrison Guzman with the Leadership team for Extra Life Hartford Guild, Bryan Raddatz, The general manager of Time Machine Lobby and Marissa Troiano with the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center came to Good Morning Connecticut to talk about the event.

The event hosted at the Time Machine Hobby’s table top gaming center, The Portal, is located in Manchester. For the 3rd year in a row, The Portal will provide a venue for a 24-hour table top gaming marathon from midnight to midnight.

If you are interested in playing, you can stop by The Portal or register at extra-life.org.
