How to make a watermelon strawberry coconut water smoothie

NEW HAVEN Conn. (WTNH) — Kids are back and school and that means parents schedules are going to be busy ones over the next year. Today we were shown an easy smoothie that mom’s can take on the go that is loaded with tons of health benefits.

Explaining the health benefits of the ‘watermelon strawberry coconut water smoothie’ and showing us how easy it is to make is blogger at Jeanette’s Healthy Living, Jeanette Chen.

Chen also talked to us about ‘MegaFood’, a supplement that offers a a variety of different nutrient booster powers.  All of the powders can easily be added to this smoothie recipe or others to give your drink an extra nutritional boost. Here is the recipe for the ‘watermelon strawberry coconut water smoothie’:

  • 1 cup watermelon chunks
  • 1 cup organic strawberries
  • ½ cup organic Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 scoop MegaFood™ Kids Daily Multi Nutrient Booster Powder
  • 1 cup organic coconut water
  • Add some ice if you like it extra frosty.

Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
