(WTNH)- Happy Hanukkah! A tradition every year on the table are sizzling hot potato latkes.

Local Chef and blogger of Kosherlikeme.com Liz Rueven came to Good Morning Connecticut to show us her sizzling easy recipe! Of course if you want to do traditional, Rueven said when making latkes, a food processor makes quick work of grating potatoes and chopping onions but if you don’t have one, you can use a box grater. She also says a cast iron pan is a great choice for frying because it heats up more evenly than others. But for this recipe, frozen shredded potatoes are used to make your cooking a whole lot easier!

The Latkes Rueven made were made with a cheesy twist and you can prepare these also for you breakfast table by adding eggs for a morning treat! OF course, if you want to dip your latkes in something to add a little more flavor, you can add sour cream.
