Ways to de-stress during National Stress Awareness month

(WTNH)- April is national stress awareness month and there are many different reasons why you could be stressed out.

Nadia Murdock, lifestyle expert, author, instructor and fitness coach, talked to us on Sunday about ways to de-stress your life.

Murdock says the first way to de-stress is to wrap yourself in luxury. Cozy bathrobes or towels are a great way to relax.

A second way to help is to get a good night’s sleep.

You can also help relax by energizing your skin and your mind. There are instant pick me ups that are able to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

Murdock says to also try to stay calm.

And of course, to treat yourself. Have that glass of wine!
