The Federal Drug Administration is labeling teen use of electronic cigarettes as an epidemic and is connecting it to the use of other drugs. The Child Guidance Clinic for Central CT is helping parents help their children make healthy decisions.

The Child Guidance Clinic for Central CT outpatient services for substance use treatment are offered to youth and their families and can assist in making the behavioral, psychological, and lifestyle changes to prevent substance use, become drug and alcohol free and avoid relapse.

The program also connect families with any additional services they may need-like a safe place to live, medical care or job training.

Representatives from Child Guidance Clinic urge parents to be good role models for making healthy choices, to to their teens about the risks of e-cigarettes and other drugs, and secure prescription medications.
