If you’re not looking for the flowers and chocolate, Connecticut Post Mall‘s Alexa Orban gave us a look at some last-minute ideas with a thoughtful touch that won’t empty your wallet.

Things Remembered may be a good last-minute stop.

“So the whole store is buy one, get on 50% off. But then you’ll also get the plaque for $14.99. I think it’d be a great wedding gift or something coming up for Mother’s Day,” said Orban.

Ladies you can shop for the guys there too. You’ll save money on personalized men’s bracelets and dog-tags.

For the guy or gal, you can go the extra mile with a personalized candle in their favorite scent. They’ll think of you when they light it.

Or if you’re celebrating Galentine’s Day alone or with girlfriends, check out Francesca’s at the mall for inexpensive spa treats.

“You can treat yourself on Valentine’s Day, go get a spa day, and all the pallets are under $20, as well so all just great deals,” said Orban.

More ideas are festive drink-ware or personalized necklaces for the ladies.

Bottom line is that you can still piece together a thoughtful gift before time runs out.
