NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — “Justice on Trial” is the story of two civil rights attorneys who sued the Department of Justice for reparations and damages done to African Americans.
The fictional story relies on time traveler witnesses, including Harriet Tubman and Medgar Evers.
Connecticut Judge Lubbie Harper, Jr. stars as a judge in the film. Dennis House spoke with Justice Harper and Bill Doherty of the Madison Arts Cinema.
