(WTNH)– Many of the industries that made Connecticut an economic powerhouse a century ago. Silver in Meriden, silk in Manchester, and brass in Waterbury.

None of that is made in those places anymore, and in Waterbury, the brass city, the legacy of the brass industry is a big problem.

News 8’s Dennis House discussed his plans for Waterbury’s future in the video above.
