Opioid Crisis

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A public hearing is being held in Hartford Thursday on a bill that would prohibit requirements for prescribing clinically inappropriate amounts of psychotropic drugs.

The Insurance and Real Estate Committee will hear from Connecticut residents.

They will also have the chance to weigh in on a proposed bill that would require health insurance coverage for medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder.
