(WTNH)– It’s Friday which means it’s the end of the week and a look back through your eyes.

All this talk about summer winding down but these pictures show otherwise.

The hydrangeas are still looking good in a yard. As are some flowers.

According to Gina, the tomato harvest is going strong as well.

Look at the sunflower at Pastimes Athletic Club in East Norwalk. The sky’s the limit it seems.

Speaking of the sky, looking good at times. Ominous as well after storms from last week. Erin got a shot of a lightning bolt in Bristol where you can can see the flash in the distance.

It’s safe to say everyone is back in school. One more shout out to all the kids who are starting a new year. Make it a good one.

Finally, The Closer to Free Ride in New Haven. People from all over coming together to raise money for patient care and research at Smilow Cancer Hospital and the Yale Cancer Center.
