2 QU alumni make strides in Stanley Cup Playoffs

Sports

The Boston Bruins are four wins away from playing for a Stanley Cup Championship.

The B’s open the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday night with the Carolina Hurricanes.

We know who the Quinnipiac Hockey family will be rooting for.

Former Bobcats defenseman Connor Clifton has been enjoying a nice post-season run with the B’s.

Number 75 has racked up a couple of Stanley Cup playoff points too.

Rand Pecknold, the QU head coach, has really enjoyed the playoffs this season with Clifton and Devon Toews both taking part.

Toews became the first QU player to score a Stanley Cup playoff point. He beat Clifton by a day.
