A New England family is getting a wish of a lifetime on Friday in Atlanta ahead of the big game.
Adam Aref suffers from a rare disorder called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive, irreversible, no known cure. Thanks to Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Make-A-Wish Foundation and their amazing partnership with the NFL has granted Adam his wish – to attend the big football game.
“It’s been a great day we went to mercedes benz stadium went to the field able to go on it…,” Adam.
Adam would have loved being at the game regardless of who was playing, but here he is rooting for his favorite New England team.
“Adam has not stopped smiling since he got here,” Marie Kamel, Adam’s mother.
Adam’s mother told News 8 they raced on the field, and when they reached the endzone they realized it was being painted. They asked if that was the Ned England endzone being painted and indeed it was.
