Connecticut Sun narrowly defeated by Dallas Wings 71-67

The Connecticut Sun are back on the floor for another exhibition game on Tuesday evening, this one against the Dallas Wings.

6th year forward Alyssa Thomas has become one of the best players in the WNBA. She’s skilled and competes at another level. Sometimes that competive fire works to the All-Stars disadvantage, at least in the officials’ eyes.

Thomas is still fighting for league-wide respect that other superstars get.

When you’re constantly looking over your shoulder, it’s hard to perform to your full potential.

As for the game, the Sun was narrowly defeated by the Wings.

Jonquel Jones scored 10 points and had 14 rebounds.

Bria Holmes got in early, her offense is coming around. She had a team high of 14 points.

Still, the Sun trailed at halftime and couldn’t catch up.

Arike Ogunbawale has never met a shot she doesn’t like; she had 19.

Final score was 71-67 Dallas.
