New Haven’s Bria Holmes is going to be a nice addition to the CT Sun.
The team likes to get up and down the floor and so does Holmes.
She says she’s in the best shape of her life after sitting out last season while pregnant. The team is slowly becoming an extended family to her and her new baby girl.
A couple of exhibition games have helped the former Hillhouse star knock the rust of her game. Holmes looks like she’ll be a spark off the Suns bench this season.
In two games, she’s averaging 10.5 points in only 18 minutes of action per game. No doubt she will have plenty of support each home game.
Holmes helped Hillhouse High win three straight state titles. The high school will retire her number on May 23.
