NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The North Haven High School football team, coming off their first state championship last year, was set to open the season Friday at home against perennial power Darien.
It was supposed to be a big night with the reopening of Vanacore Field in North Haven.
Earlier in the day, North Haven decided to forfeit the game over disciplinary issues within the team.
Right now, we’re waiting on more information from the district.
