Huskies trying to keep heads up high despite dismal record this season


The UConn football team back in action Saturday night. The 1-7 Huskies play at the 1-7 Tulsa Golden Hurricanes.

Coach Randy Edsall not the only one frustrated with the way things are going right now.

Redshirt sophomore Tyler Coyle one of many younger players on this team that are trying to stay upbeat.

Coyle won a lot of games as a player at Windsor High School— but in his Uconn career there haven’t been many “W’s”.

We asked Cole what the worst part is of all this losing. 

“It’s definitely going back to your room and thinking, ‘I could’ve done this better’ or ‘that better’ but like Coach Edsall says we have to play every play like its the last play were ever gonna play…We want to win, get the young guys better and just to win out.”

Huskies play Tulsa Saturday night at 7:00.
