HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Around 600 boats and rowers cast-off in Hartford Sunday for the largest single-day regatta in the Northeast.
Rowers from rowing centers, high schools, and colleges up and down the east coast brought their boats to Hartford for the Head of the Riverfront Regatta.
The boats raced for nine hours from the Wethersfield Cove to the Mortonsen Riverfront Plaza.
Last year’s regatta was canceled due to the COVID-12 pandemic.
