Mets struggle to get a win, facing the Padres in San Diego this week

Not a good couple weeks of baseball for the New York Mets; They’ve lost four straight games and 9 of 12.

They got shutout last night by the San Diego Padres 4-0, the Mets with just four hits.

Veteran third baseman Todd Frazier had 1 of them. The Mets need to turn things around fast.

Sports Team 8 caught up with Frazier on the teams last homestand and he said despite the team’s struggles, he likes the talent and young players on the team.

Mets and Padres again in San Diego on Tuesday night , first pitch just after 10:00 p.m. EST.
