It is not often that you see a Connecticut connection to a first round draft pick in the NFL, but that’s exactly what we had Thursday night. That would be Clemson defensive lineman, Christian Wilkins.
Wilkins was the number one pick of the Miami Dolphins,13th overall.
Christian who was at his old stomping grounds in Suffield this past week made a great first impression with the chest bump of Commissioner Roger Goodell.
He was also pretty funny when interviewed by Robin Roberts and Jesse Palmer late Thursday night on the NFL Draft coverage on News 8.
He also talked about his coach Dabo Sweeney.
By the way, Christian and his mates helped get Dabo a 10 year $93 Million contract extension.
