No. 5 Yale lacrosse tops No. 2 Albany, 14-6


The 5th ranked Yale Men’s Lacrosse team hosted 2nd ranked Albany on Sunday.

The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead in the 1st quarter, as Matt Gaudet made it 4-1 with the score.

In the 2nd quarter, Yale kept it going, as Ben Reeves took it himself for the unassisted goal to make it 6-2 Bulldogs.

In the 3rd, Albany rallied a bit, cutting into the lead and making it a 7-5 game off of a Sean Eccles goal.

However, Yale would regain control and never look back, winning in convincing fashion, 14-6.

Yale improves to 11-2 on the season and will look to stay perfect in the Ivy League when it hosts Harvard at 12 noon on Saturday.
