It was a close game all Friday evening between rivals UConn and Notre Dame at the Final Four, and Notre Dame came on top.
The 50th matchup between these two elite programs would be another good one but another game that has the Huskies fall short once again.

But Notre Dame comes back again. Marina Mabry from three, ties the game at 66.
At 90 seconds to go, Jessica Shepard hits the foul line jumper.
Huskies lose 81 to 76.
It’s the 3rd straight year that they lose in the national semifinal.
